Logging in to our Tipping Competition requires that cookies are enabled in your browser.
If you have verified your account and after logging in have received an error advising “You have to be a registered tipper”, it is more than likely because the browser you are using has cookies disabled.
We recommend Chrome and Safari but our Tipping Competition will work on all modern browsers.
Please find the browser you are using in the list below and follow the instructions to enable cookies.
Click the context menu in the browser toolbar to the right of the address bar.
Click “Show Advanced Settings.”
Click Content Settings in the Privacy section.
Ensure that the bullet for “Allow local data to be set (recommended)” is checked.
“Block third-party cookies and site data” can be checked or unchecked depending on your preferences in this regard.

Click the “Settings and more” b***on in the top right-hand corner of the browser window (three dots).
Select the Settings menu.
Search for “Cookies”.
Click the Cookies and site data item to view the options.
Cookies are enabled when the control on the right is blue.

Click ‘Tools’ (the gear icon) in the browser toolbar.
Choose Internet Options.
Click the Privacy tab, and then, under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies, and then click OK.

Click the Safari menu from the top toolbar.
Click the Privacy tab.
Click the “Never” checkbox for Block Cookies.

Click the Tools menu from the top toolbar.
Click the Privacy tab.
Under “History” select “Use custom settings for history” from the drop-down menu beside “Firefox will.”
Ensure that the checkboxes for “Accept cookies from sites” and “Accept third-party cookies” are both checked.

Cookies can’t be disabled in Chrome on Mobile devices so if you’re having issues logging in on a phone using Chrome, we’d ask that you try an alternative internet browser or desktop device to place your tips.
In Firefox for your iPhone, first Party Cookies are always allowed, so if you’re having issues logging in on a phone using Firefox, we’d ask that you try an alternative internet browser or desktop device to place your tips.
On your Android, open the “3 dot” Firefox menu.
Find the “Settings” menu and tap on it.
Tap on the “Privacy” option and then “Cookies”.
A pop-up screen will present you with the three options available.
Please select one of the first three options (Enabled, Enabled excluding tracking cookies, Enabled excluding 3rd party).
Open the “Settings” App.
Scroll and tap on the “Safari” menu item.
Scroll down to Cookie Preferences.
If the slider is slid to the right and green, all cookies are blocked. To unblock, slide to the left.
